Each year 26th January is celebrated as the Indian republic and its constitution saw the light of the day. It is celebrated enthusiastically in the college where flag hoisting takes place and a parade and drill are organized by the NCC cadets of the college. Cultural programs are held to commemorate the event.  All students, teaching and non-teaching staff gather in the college premises to celebrate the day.
