Akanksha
The Department of Commerce organizes annually, a state level mega event Akanksha.  Large number of students participate in formal and informal events like business quiz, stress interview, debating, ad-venture, treasure hunt and several others with large number of guests representing industry enlightening students on contemporary business issues.

The following are several events conducted under banner Akaanksha in last eight years.

Commersense
Department of commerce contemplated a unique step departing from the usual Academic and instigating a concept of blending non-academic events into the academic curriculum through its first event commerce sense- The event was highly successful with the student participation crossing 3000. This created a great platform for the subsequent events.

One day seminar Capital Markets
The commerce department of Aurora’s was into its Decennial and it would not be out of place to mark this achievement in the year 2003. The Decennial Celebrations were flagged off on a serious note with the seminar on capital markets. The audience was spell bound with the intricacies of the capital market.

Futuristic Careers- Lecture Series- Two day event
At a time when the student had many options opening up and was confused as to which is the best option for him, the commerce dept thought of educating the student with futuristic career options which was unique in itself as it encompassed nine different career options. Personalities who carved a place for themselves in their respective fields, spoke to the students. At the end of which the students had a crystal clear perspective at the end of the hour.
